“A must for lovers of fine italian cuisine”
I have enjoyed lunch a couple of times here with my daughter when she was studying at Bristol University. I loved how absolutely Italian it was, the Italian waiters speaking in Italian to each other, the chefs calling out in Italian, the Italian owners, the Italian menu! Bellisimo!
We ate so well when we were here last, we both opted for a pasta dish – a sea food linguine with roasted vine tomatoes and a smoked salmon ravioli accompanied by a cold glass of Italian Pinot Grigio. It was delicious.
At the back of the restaurant lining the walls of the staircase is a photographic gallery of stars! Fabulous pictures of famous visitors to the San Carlo group of restaurants. There are other restaurants in this amazing chain, 5 of them based in Manchester; 2 within Selfridges, another within the House of Fraser store, and 2 stand alone restaurants in Kings Street and also ‘Fumo’ in St Peter’s Square. Another Cheshire based restaurant is located in the Marriott Hotel. It would be hard to beat the Bristol location though in my opinion!
“Working with such a professional restaurant group allows me to express my passion and expertise”
